Dear all,

I am looking for very stable molecules that do not get fragmented with Higher-energy collisional dissociation (HCD, at least at usual NCEs) and with a molecular weight larger than 300 Da. Furthermore they should be positively charged.

I know, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons might be interesting candidates...

Any suggestion is appreciated !

Best,

W.

Have you tried Ultramark? It is common in tune/calibration mixtures and pretty stable as far as I know, though I've never tried HCD on it.

Maybe Ultramark isn't such a good idea...I found out that it is used for calibrating HCD collision energy!
