SharedProteomics anti-censorship policy

Postby Doug » Mon Jun 11, 2012 8:58 am

While we have had this policy since the inception of SharedProteomics we decided that it might be a good idea to post about it here. We want this to be an open forum so we have decided not to edit or censor posts in any way. We do make exceptions, for example, deleting spam and adding hyper links when it appears that the initial posts intended for them to be there. But in general we want SharedProteomics to be simply a place for people to discuss proteomics freely without intervention from us or any moderators.

That being said, while we encourage critical discussion of proteomic research and even debate over the validity of results, we also encourage our members to avoid inflammatory language, personal criticisms, and other hurtful comments.

We thank you all for your participation. And if you have comments regarding our censorship policies or anything else please do not hesitate to send send a private message to either of us.

All the best,

Doug and Craig
