Using jActiveModules cytoscape plugin for proteomics data

Postby woa » Sun Mar 04, 2012 6:50 pm

Did anyone use the 'jActivemodules' cytoscape plugin for finding out subgraphs in a protein-protein interaction network? In that case how do you provide the 'p-value' for expression which is required as input? Will 'log fold change' value converted to a p-value via a z-score, assuming normal distribution work?

Are there any good alternative softwares available?

Thanks

Hi woa,

I sent this question to a colleague who works on Cytoscape, and he posted it to the Cytoscape Helpdesk Google Group, where it got this answer: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/cytoscape-helpdesk/M0Ptshtyidg.
