Extraction of GO annotation-Need help

Postby karthikskamath » Wed Nov 27, 2013 12:41 am

I have a list of Uniprot Ids for which I need to extract GO annotation information. So far I have been doing it with the help of annotation node in Proteome Discoverer. Now I have a text file having about ~1000 Uniprot IDs for which I need to get GO information.

Previously I have used a tool STRAP . But the same tool doesn't seems to be working now. Can any one suggest a alternative tool which can retrieve annotations, perform the categorization and also give charts (Bar/Pie charts)?

You can use BLAST 2 GO tools for GO function analysis.

You can try http://www.innatedb.com/ . I've used that before, works OK.
