Proteomics Blogs and Links of Interest

Postby Doug » Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:22 am

Really nice blog from Kermit Murray, professor of chemistry at Louisiana State University. Videos, news, links, and RSS feeds from a lot of relevant journals all in one convenient place. Definitely worth checking out if you use a mass spectrometer for research (or just know what a mass spectrometer is). ;)

This is a nice news and editorial blog about genomics and proteomics. Definitely more "gen" than "proteo" but its a great blog never-the-less.

The UCSD computational mass spectrometry blog posts well thought out but concise reviews of current publications. The key points of the paper are outlined in list format and critiques are bullet pointed. No fluff here. I appreciate that.

I've starting mod'ing the proteomics subreddit ( http://www.reddit.com/r/proteomics/ ) . I'm a bit busy these days with experiments, science, but I plan to start submitting also hopefully customize the subreddit with custom headers, graphics etc.., so start following and submitting :) .
